Lecien Memoire A Paris X LLK Lenox Dress

Posted by Ellies Handmade on

I've been working on a super fun project with Lecien Fabrics this month, I'm sewing up some of their wonderful new releases to take with me to Quilt Market in Kansas City Quilt Market in May. When I opened the parcel that arrived from Japan, from Lecien Headquarters, I was in awe at the stunning prints in the box.
The first that jumped out at me was the stunning Memoire a Paris prints. If you have never worked with a cotton lawn before, I urge you to run out right now and get your hands on some of this range. The lawn is so smooth, and so soft, it is a DELIGHT to sew.

Over at Little Lizard King, we happened to have a gorgeous dress pattern in the works, Lenox, that I thought would be so perfect for this fabric.
Combined with a trip away to Huskisson for the weekend, I sewed up this stunning fabric into a Lenox mini length dress, and headed out for a sunrise photo shoot. Seriously - the beach I went to took my breath away! The whitest sand you could imagine, gorgeous soft waves. Needless to say we went back later that day for a few hours of fun in the sun.

You can find the Lenox Dress pattern here, sized 12 months through to 14 years.
