This month I worked on designing the Little Lizard King Baby Kensington. The romper was an addition to the wonderful Kensington Dress pattern, expanding the size range right down to newborn and offering NB through 4 years with the extra cute factor of a romper option.
I couldn't resist using fabric for this project from Riley Blake, a new range called Pemberley. The pink tones are so pretty, and the graphics that Rachel, (Citrus and Mint) designed are just so feminine and sweet, just look at those gorgeous swans! I chose to use Lake in light pink, and accent the main print with Garden print.
Look at these darling swans and such beautiful, fine florals! I just love these two fabrics together!!
Here is a little about the the Baby Kensington PDF Pattern:
- designed for woven fabrics
- romper and dress
- button back closure
- collar options: curved, scalloped or square collar
- sleeve options: sleeveless, cap, flutter and long
- optional front bodice pintucks

Modeled by the gorgeous Aria (https://www.instagram.com/lillprincessaria/), this version features the cap sleeve and collar.
Look how beautiful the entire Pemberley range of fabric is, this is a collection that will suit clothing for all age girls!
